Data Usage & Requests
This page outlines how data moves through PlanMyGrid and the fastest ways to export, delete, or review the information stored about your workspace.
What we store when you sync
- Grids & posts: layouts, captions, and history needed to render your workspace across devices.
- Media: metadata and optional hosted uploads (images, videos) stored in encrypted cloud storage with redundant backups.
- Analytics: view counts, clone counts, and action logs that power share analytics and activity history.
Self-service
- Download JSON + ZIP exports of any grid from Settings → Data controls.
- Clear offline data instantly with the “Clear local workspace” button.
- Delete your account to remove synced content, analytics, and billing records immediately.
White-glove requests
- Email hey@planmygrid.com from the account address with subject “Data export request”. We deliver a signed download link within one business day.
- For selective purges (e.g., remove media but keep analytics) contact us and we’ll coordinate deletions across backups.
- Compliance reviews (DPA, SOC, intrusion logs) are available under NDA upon request.
Escalate a request
Security disclosure
Report vulnerabilities privately to security@planmygrid.com. We acknowledge within 24 hours and keep you informed as we remediate.
Data concern
Share timestamps, grid IDs, or share codes so we can trace issues quickly. We preserve logs while investigating and keep you updated.
Regulatory inquiries
We honor GDPR/CCPA and similar requests. Include your jurisdiction and official documentation if you represent a customer or regulator.
